    Jamie

My corgi is 40 lbs and has lost use of rear legs due to nerve issues in his spine. Which size do you recommend for him since he’s at the cutoff for both sizes?

      Hello Jaime,
We build many wheelchairs each day for Corgis and we see a very high success rate for Corgis with any type of mobility related issue. Your Corgi at 40 lbs. would need the medium sizing. Each wheelchair is custom made for each pet’s specific breed, weight, age, and measurements combination. We also follow up with you after the purchase to ensure the wheelchair is perfectly fit and balanced.

  2. Marcel R.

Absolutely the best support for hind-end mobility issues that I have found

    Marcel R. (verified owner)

I have a senior dog with serious mobility issues in her hind legs because of arthritis. I had tried four different slings before this one and they either weren’t secure and didn’t offer enough support (one-strap sling), were too confining, or had the handle at the wrong point for me to really support her hind end like most harness-types.

I found this one after hours of research. It was the one most recommended by vets, and it was the only one that concentrated the support on the hind end and is secure while not restricting movement and being easy to take off and put on. It has been an absolute lifesaver for my dog, with it on and my support she can get into the car, climb on the couch, negotiate steps, even chase a ball a little bit. It has prevented so many falls and has encouraged her to move around more. It has given her back her ability to enjoy life and it has made helping her so much easier for me, too. This is a great product.

Hello Ken, thank you for reaching out to us about the EZ Lift. The EZ Lift harness is a unique harness with above average pelvic support compared to other harnesses because it is made using the same materials as our patented leg ring support system in our wheelchairs. The handles are fully adjustable, so you can custom adjust the length to your liking. The handle is a soft foam grip.

Dog LIft Harness - EZ Lift

    Barbara A Kane-Burke (verified owner)

Just received the EZ LIft in our mail today. Our 13 1/2 Labrador has neuropathy in his rear legs, so cannot stand for long periods before his legs give out. We took him for a walk tonight and he was able to pee and defecate with no problem. He showed no signs of the EZLift bothering him. He was able to keep up with our 5 year Golden where he would normally lag behind. Previously, he would often fall back when he was taking his dump (our word) unless caught we him in time. Looking forward to giving Harry more confidence when he is walking. Sor far a great product!

Hello Jo, thank you for reaching out to us in regard to the fit of the EZ Lift for your Shih Tzu. The EZ Lift is designed to be used across a large variety of different size dogs. We tried the small size on a 14 lbs. Dachshund at our facility today during a fitting and the small size EZ Lift worked just fine on her, so you should be good to go with your 12 lbs. Shih Tzu. The EZ Lift slides on and off in seconds and gives great support while being comfortable for the person lifting.

Thank you for the excellent question. The EZ Lift harness can be left on a pet for short periods of time when laying down and you just need to grab the handles and lift up as your pet wants to stand. If you are looking for a harness you can leave on your pet all day, we would recommend the Walkabout Airlift Harness.

This is the second sling I’ve purchased. Love the first one but I’m a little slow in the mornings. This goes on either way and with nothing to fasten. Great for that morning rush out the door to pee!

  10. Florence & Kevin Arquitt

    EZ Lift Harness

Florence & Kevin Arquitt (verified owner)

I believe this is one of the better harnesses I purchased. I spent a lot of money in total to find something that would work. I took a chance because it looked more supportive than most of the harness lifts. My GSD just could not get use to it. Keep in mind he has DM and his back legs are giving out. It was difficult for me to put on him and he doesn’t feel the mid body support-he fights me using it. Unfortunately I had to go back to using a blanket. I believe this product will be great for most dogs but not bigger dogs in late stages of DM, I still give the product a 5 star rating because if I would have found this before he worsened- it may have been the perfect product.

Hello Florence and Kevin. Thank you for your honest feedback about the EZ Lift. You are absolutely correct. This is a very good harness that we see positive results with on a daily basis, but does require strong front leg strength. If your pet just needs rear support and front legs are good and strong – this is the harness for you. If your dog is in later stages of DM, we recommend looking at the Help Em Up Harness. We have a large variety of harnesses for each pet’s current disability. If you are unsure, please reach out to our qualified staff.

This product has been a godsend! Not only has it saved our backs.. it’s given our pup a little of his freedom back that he has lost due to the instability and weakness in his rear legs and spine. Excellent quality and easy to throw on at a moment’s notice when your pup’s bodily functions require a dash outside. Thank you for giving us back a little quality of life in a very difficult time. ❤️

The EZ lift harness was a life changer for my dog. He needed support while walking and going to the bathroom, and this harness was the perfect solution. It definitely made the last year of my dogs life more manageable. He didn’t mind it at all because he knew that it helped him. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a dog that has back leg issues and needs support!

Old dog thinks he's a pup. That's why we need a sling. Rated 4.5 for sure.

    Karen Parker (verified owner)

We have a St. Bernard/Boxer rescue who is 125 lbs. He’s 11 and has some muscle atrophy in his back legs. We live in the country and so don’t leash him while on walks. Twice now he has caught sent of a deer and takes off before we can catch him in the woods (we are not young ourselves). Both times, when we finally catch up, he is so exhausted that he can only walk a couple of yards at a time. This can make the trip home really lengthy.

After the first time, we bought this product. Yesterday, we got to try it out. He was uncertain at first, but soon realized that my husband was taking up the back leg slack and we made it home fairly quickly.

Pain relievers all around. But we are thankful for the sling.

Thank you so much for the Ez-lift.

    Heather

Thank you so much for the Ez-lift. It’s pure genius design. This has given my 14 year old German Shepherd Heidi a new lease on life. We have resumed our walks on the golf course and she literally smiles. I can see the relief on her face. She walks with speed again and most of all purpose (she loves to track). I must add it has saved me as well, as I have been carrying her (60 pounds) all over the place. I have been glad to do it as she is my world. But it is much more fun to see her walking on her own again. I can’t thank you enough for giving me my dog back. I’m considering the wheel chair and working on the measurements.
Keep up the good work! – Heather
